Passing through

A stopover on the A3, exit 76.

Geiselwind sits directly on the A3 between Würzburg and Nuremberg and has its own exit. For motorhomes, caravans and campervans there are pitches with electricity, a new sanitary building and a check-in terminal where you can register without a booking, all year and around the clock.

Who the site is built for

Motorhome stopover or campsite? Both.

We combine the advantages of a motorhome pitch with the amenities of a campsite.

In practice that means you drive onto your pitch as you would on a motorhome site, with electricity at the pitch itself and 4 charging points for electric vehicles. And you stay as you would on a campsite, with a sanitary building, a kiosk and a tent meadow. For one night in transit or a few days in the Steigerwald: the site is built for both.

The A3 links the Dutch border with Austria and was, from 1984 to 2008, the only German motorway running continuously between two external borders. Anyone travelling along that axis has an exit of their own in Geiselwind.

Arrival and check-in

Caravan, motorhome, campervan: the same pitch, the same electricity.

Arriving with nobody on duty

How do I get in when nobody is there?

The check-in terminal stands right at the entrance, next to the kiosk. Alternatively, you can also register directly on site at our booking terminal. If you booked online, drive straight up to the barrier and it opens by itself; if you turn up unannounced, you book at the terminal. Both work at night as well.

Our phone number is on the machine as well: +49 160 98306773. If the booking gets stuck at the terminal, call us.
